Hunting/camping knife recommendation?
hey, any body have any recommendations of a hunting/camping knife. not pocket knife size, bigger (that's y i said hunting/camping) any brand or type would be great. im not going to buy off a website so don't leave one. and im looking for knifes not stores, thank you
Pick up a fixed blade knife with a 4 to 5" blade. Keep it around 9" total length. Too long and it will be hard to use for field dressing game.
Gerber, Kershaw, Columbia River, and Buck make excellent, inexpensive knives.
Kershaw also makes a series called Alaskan Blade Trader. you can change blades from regular blade to a gut hook blade to a saw blade. It covers everything you need.
